İZÜ Hosted executives from the Istanbul Chamber of Industry (İSO) and prominent figures from the business world to srengthen university-industry collaboration.
Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University (İZÜ) hosted a significant meeting aimed at strengthening university-industry collaboration.
The brakfast event was attented by Istanbul Chamber of Industry (İSO) Chairman Erdal Bahçıvan, İSO Assembly President Ender Yılmaz, and several board members from both İSO and the Istanbul Chamber of Industry Foundation (İSOV), along with prominent business figuers.
Also present at the meeting were İlim Yayma Foundation President Bilal Erdoğan, foundation executives, İZÜ Board of Trustees Chairman Özkan Göksal, Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Cevat Acar, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. İbrahim Güney, Prof. Dr. İsmail Küçük, and Prof. Dr. Erhan İçener, as well as İZÜ Secratary General Dr. Fatih Hasdemir.
The meeting emphasized that universities’ missions of producing scientific knowledge and training qualified professionals should align with the needs of the industry.
Participants highlighted the critical role of closer collaboration between the industrial sector and universities in facilitating the realization of innovative projects.
It was also stated that meeting laid the groundwork for new partnerships that will further strengthen the interaction between industry and academia.
