Muslim Ummah Conferences
Since its establishment in 2017, the Center for Islam and Global Affairs (CIGA) has convened four Muslim Ummah Conferences. These conferences have addressed crucial themes including "Synthesizing a New Paradigm, Analyzing Modern Challenges," "Fault Lines and Perils Facing Muslim Societies," "The Quest For Democracy: Examining Civil-Military Relations in Muslim Societies," and "Governance and Political Authority in the Muslim World: Examining Theory and Practice." Each conference delves into pressing issues confronting Muslim communities globally, aiming to foster critical discussions and propose innovative solutions. CIGA's commitment to providing a platform for dialogue underscores its dedication to enhancing understanding and cooperation within the Muslim Ummah. Through these conferences, participants explore diverse perspectives, share insights, and seek to forge pathways towards greater unity, progress, and prosperity in the Muslim world.
