• All buildings in IZU campus are designed with large joinery to get maximum benefit from daylight.

• Thanks to the roof skylights, maximum daylight is taken into the building and the need for energy is minimized. Wide windows, central courtyards and ceiling lights make maximum use of daylight.

• The buildings are designed as inner courtyards and the light facing of the inner and outer spaces is provided.

• Modern methods have been taken into consideration in terms of facade insulation and it is aimed to minimize heat loss.

• Thanks to the wide and four-way opening corridor and facade window joinery, the natural ventilation possibility is very high.

• An energy manager has been appointed at our university and he is actively working in the campus.

• The façade coverings of our education buildings are made of natural stone. Inside, the ceilings are high and more than 70% do not have an additional ceiling covering.
