Stepping Together Towards a Greener Future

Out of IZU's total area of 632 decares, 500,000 square meters consist of green spaces. Home to 10,000 trees, including century-old olive and plane trees, the IZU Campus allows students to enjoy both learning and socializing. The campus promises a university life integrated with nature, featuring walking paths, picnic areas, and bicycle tracks. The spirit of foundation (waqf) is a core part of IZU culture; seasonal fruits harvested from campus orchards are served to students in baskets along the walking paths. IZU’s green campus is also certified by international rating organizations. Ranked among the top 500 in the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings since 2019, IZU rose to 311th globally in 2024.

Low-Rise Architecture, Lush Green Campus

Based on the principle that higher education extends beyond lectures, research, and laboratories, IZU offers top-tier social facilities. The university's social, sports, and cultural spaces, combined with low-rise architecture prioritizing nature, invite students to an unforgettable campus experience. The 2 to 3-story academic buildings are complemented by a spacious library and mosque situated at the heart of the campus.
