Are there any discounts on course fees?

  • Discounts may be available depending on the number of course packages purchased in individual registrations.

  • A special discount is offered for family members (first-degree relatives: mother, father, child, spouse, etc.) when purchasing 3 or 5 course packages.
  • The number of students in a class varies between 8 and 15.
  • Our courses are usually held on weekdays. However, if there is sufficient demand, weekend classes may also be available.
  • Our classes are held on weekdays at the following times:
    09:00 - 13:00 / 13:30 - 17:00 / 17:30 - 21:00

How many hours of lessons are there in a day? How many hours will I have in total?

  • The education is provided for 4 hours per day and 20 hours per week.
  • A total of 140 hours of lessons are given, excluding the final exam.

The exams assess four skills: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking.

  • Each class is taught by at least 2 and at most 3 teachers.
  • To pass the exam, you must score at least 15 points in each section. A student who does not achieve a minimum of 15 points in Listening, Reading, and Writing will not be allowed to take the Speaking exam.
  • You can learn the exam results from your class teachers or from the contact addresses of İZÜ TÖMER.
  • In our courses, the "Yeni İstanbul Uluslararası Öğrenciler için Türkçe Ders Kitabı" (New Istanbul Turkish Course Book for International Students) is used.
  • You can obtain the textbooks from the Turkey Diyanet Foundation Bookstore located at the İZÜ Halkalı campus. It is on the left when you enter the cafeteria building.
  • For the courses, there is an 80% attendance requirement. Those who exceed the attendance limit cannot take the final exam.

Is there an age limit to attend the courses?

  • The minimum age in our classes is 15. A special class for children could be open based on demand.
  • We do not have a special course for women.
  • Private tutoring is not provided within İZÜTÖMER .
  • A special class can be opened when a group of at least 14 students from each level join together.
  • After registering for the courses, any student can request a student certificate for the duration of their course.
  • Since the courses offered within İZÜTÖMER  are certificate programs, the relevant institution does not issue IETT(student transportation card) cards.

-Before registering for residence procedures, it is required to meet with the immigration authority. The immigration authority accepts 6-month or 1-year student certificate. For this, at least 4 levels must be registered in IZUTEM.

  • The certificate and student certificate are issued within 3 business days after the request is made.
  • You cannot attend the classes as a guest.
  • The certificates obtained from İZÜTÖMER  are valid at all universities in Turkey. However, some universities only accept the exam they conduct as valid. It is advisable to consult the relevant universities before applying.
  • To receive an acceptance letter, it is sufficient for the student to pay the course fee for at least 2 levels and the acceptance letter fee, and then send the required documents to İZÜ TÖMER.
  • If a student who has received an acceptance letter is unable to obtain a visa, the course fee will be refunded upon request, provided an official document from the relevant institution is submitted. However, the acceptance letter fee is non-refundable.

  • In cases of force majeure, such as long-term illness, relocation to another country, death, etc., a 25% deduction will be applied to the paid course fee, and the remaining amount will be refunded within 30 business days. To process the refund, the force majeure circumstances must be verifiable, and a formal request letter must be submitted to the İZÜ TÖMER unit secretariat.
