The first step for the “Key Ideas Summit 2026,” which brings together the industry, academia, and the entrepreneurship ecosystem, was taken with a ceremony attended by our Rector, Prof. Dr. İsmail Küçük. The introductory meeting for the summit, organized by Emlak Konut REIT a subsidiary of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change with the aim of integrating Türkiye’s technology and innovation capacity into the construction and urban development sectors, was held with the participation of İZÜ Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Küçük and Emlak Konut REIT senior management. The meeting brought together leading stakeholders of the ecosystem, including universities, technoparks, and Technology Development Centers (TEKMER), around the same table. During the meeting, where the vision for the summit to be held in 2026 was shared, a cooperation protocol that will shape the future of the sector was also signed.
