Change of Duty at İZÜ Faculty of Law

Prof. Dr. Mustafa Ateş, who has served as the dean of the İZÜ Faculty of Law for 14 years, handed over his position to Prof. Dr. Canan Küçükali at a ceremony attended by the university administration.

Prof. Dr. Mustafa Ateş, the founding dean of the Faculty of Law at Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University, transferred the deanship, which he had carried out for 14 years, to Prof. Dr. Canan Küçükali. In addition to İZÜ Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Küçük, the ceremony held at the Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Law was attended by Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Erhan İçener and Prof. Dr. Nihat Erdoğmuş, Secretary General Dr. Fatih Hasdemir, Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences Prof. Dr. Hasan Kamil Yılmaz, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Prof. Dr. M. Emin Köktaş, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences Prof. Dr. Ayşe Nefise Bahçecik, Dean of the Faculty of Sports Sciences Prof. Dr. Mustafa Zahit Serarslan, Director of the Graduate Education Institute Associate Prof. Dr. Hakan Çavuşoğlu, and our former rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Cevat Acar.

FACULTY OF LAW CONTINUES ITS SUCCESSFUL COURSE
Speaking at the handover ceremony, Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Küçük stated that the Faculty of Law has achieved significant progress since its establishment and thanked Prof. Dr. Mustafa Ateş for the academic knowledge and institutional contributions he brought to the faculty. Emphasizing that the change of duty is not a relay race but a requirement of continuity, Küçük expressed his best wishes and stated that they expect Prof. Dr. Canan Küçükali to carry the current trend even further. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Ateş, on the other hand, stated that the İZÜ Faculty of Law has reached a strong position among foundation universities in a short time and said that they have strived to train qualified and well-equipped lawyers. Ateş noted that he will continue to contribute to the faculty with his academic work in the future. Prof. Dr. Canan Küçükali, who took over the deanship, thanked for the trust placed in her and stated that they will work to further advance the academic accumulation of the faculty and strengthen its current line of success.
