Students who are willing to apply for the PhD qualifying exam to be held in the fall semester of the 2024-2025 academic year are required to fill out the PhD Qualifying application form at https://kampus.izu.edu.tr/login between October 21-25, 2024.
PhD Qualifying Exams will be held on a date to be determined by the relevant Head of Departments in December 2024.
The exams will be held at our Halkalı campus.
POINTS TO BE CONSIDERED
1- Students who have successfully completed their courses and seminar, have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.00 and above, and fulfill the Foreign Language Proficiency can apply for the doctoral qualifying exam.
2- Students admitted with a master's degree must take the doctoral qualifying exam until the end of the fifth semester at the latest in compliance with the relevant regulations.
3- In order for students to take the PhD Qualifying Exam, they must have a thesis supervisor and choose from the “PhD Qualifying Exam” section at https://derskayit.izu.edu.tr/Login
4- Students who applied for the PhD Qualifying Examination held in the spring semester of the 2023-2024 academic year and did not take the exam or failed the exam, are required to apply again on the specified dates. Students who do not apply will be considered unsuccessful and will be disenrolled from the University.
