IZU at the International Student Summit!

The International Student Summit (ISTSUM), organized by the Bab-ı Alem International Student Association, has commenced in Istanbul.
Held at the Fatih Neslişah Sultan Cultural Center under the theme "Climate and Environment," the summit attracted students and academicians from various countries. Speakers emphasized the significance of education and awareness in addressing climate and environmental issues, and also highlighted the need to consider the right to life.
Discussions also covered Turkey's success in attracting international students and the importance of environmental projects.
Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University (IZU) participated in ISTSUM, with its booth receiving significant attention. Former Ambassador Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kavas visited the IZU booth and learned about the university's international activities.
Kavas remarked that being an international student requires great dedication and sacrifice, noting that out of the 230 million students studying at universities worldwide, around 8 million are international students.
