The "Making a Difference in Disadvantaged Schools: School-Based Applied Teacher Training" was conducted on May 28, 2022, via Microsoft Teams, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Esra Töre and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kamil Arif Kırkıç.
The primary aim of the training was to enhance the professional skills of teachers working in disadvantaged schools in the Başakşehir district and to contribute to improving the quality of education in these schools. In addition to teachers from three different primary schools, school principals and vice principals from the participating institutions also attended the program. The training helped raise awareness among participants regarding the challenges and opportunities related to teaching in disadvantaged school contexts.
