The work titled “The Problem of Reconstructing the Muslim Mind World – An Analytical Attempt,” authored by Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Köktaş, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University (İZU), has been published by İnsan Yayınları and presented to readers.
Going beyond classical sociological frameworks, the study addresses the structural crises faced by Muslim societies through a comprehensive approach, locating the fundamental source of these problems not solely in political or institutional structures, but directly in the realm of mentality and worldview.
Arguing that modes of thinking, conceptions of knowledge, and traditional perceptions of the world must be restructured in alignment with the dynamics of the contemporary world, the work offers a multidimensional analytical attempt by synthesizing religious beliefs and practices with historical data, logical arguments, and various sources of knowledge.
