At the “Career Summit / PDR Festival” organized in collaboration with IZU and Marmara University, current approaches and practical examples related to the field of psychological counseling and guidance were discussed. In the first session of the program, where topics regarding the evolving needs of the field and different areas of practice were addressed, IZU faculty members Dr. Çiğdem Demir Çelebi and Dr. Fazilet Yavuz Birben delivered presentations on psychosocial development in old age and the emotional needs of children under protection. In the second session, Marmara University faculty member Dr. Derya Eryiğit emphasized the importance of school-based counseling and family influence in career planning. Psychological Counselor Musa İşler also made evaluations regarding the ways children express their emotions, communication processes, and the background of behaviors.
