The event titled “Establishment of Food Safety Systems and Artificial Intelligence Applications in the Chain Restaurant Sector,” organized in cooperation with the Department of Food Engineering and the Food and Agriculture R&D Center, was held at the Historical Building Seminar Hall-1. Food Engineers Yiğit Gülşen, Mine Kalender, Sena Öztürk Bıyıkoğlu, and Onur Solak, who participated in the event as speakers, discussed the processes for ensuring food safety in chain restaurants from different perspectives. In the talks, particular emphasis was placed on the integration of digitalization and artificial intelligence technologies into food safety processes.
