İstanbul Sabahattin Zaim University hosted a significant training session on academic writing, conducted by Associate Professor Dr. Mustafa Özgenel as part of the Erasmus+ Core Project.
In the morning session, Dr. Özgenel addressed common mistakes encountered in the academic writing process. He emphasized the importance of not only writing a quality article but also choosing the right journal and understanding the submission process. Dr. Özgenel highlighted the critical role of peer review and ethical considerations in scientific processes, offering valuable tips based on his own experiences.
The afternoon session featured a workshop led by Associate Professor Dr. Osman Özdemir from the Turkish Education Department at İZÜ. The workshop involved various activities using brainstorming techniques to create different sections of academic papers.
