Meaningful Panel on the Anniversary of Democracy and National Unity Day

On the anniversary of Democracy and National Unity Day, Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University held a panel titled "The Victory of a Nation Resisting with Sacrifice." The event, chaired by IZU Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Erhan İçener, featured speeches from IZU Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Cevat Acar, Prof. Dr. Hasan Kâmil Yılmaz, and Prof. Dr. Ergün Yıldırım.

Prof. Dr. Hasan Kâmil Yılmaz discussed the religious exploitation behind the July 15 movement, emphasizing the harm caused by misguiding religious sentiments and the nation's resistance to such manipulations. Prof. Dr. Ergün Yıldırım analyzed the sociological aspects, noting that the coup attempt targeted society as a whole and required detailed examination.
