IZU 2023-2024 Academic General Assembly Meeting Held

Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University held its 2023-2024 Academic General Assembly Meeting, attended by the university's academic and administrative staff. The meeting, led by IZU Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Cevat Acar, and Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. İbrahim Güney and Prof. Dr. Erhan İçener, involved comprehensive evaluations of the university's future and goals.

In his opening speech, Rector Acar referenced the graduation ceremony, saying, "We bid farewell to our graduates with the 2023-2024 graduation ceremony. I wish our graduates success in their new lives. I thank all our academic and administrative staff for their efforts this year." He congratulated the newly appointed and promoted academic staff by name, expressing his belief that these changes will greatly contribute to the university's academic development.

"We continue to take determined steps to enhance the quality of our education," Acar stated, highlighting IZU's achievements in education and its value to society. He also emphasized the university's commitment to not remain indifferent to global issues, pledging to continue raising their voices against injustices, such as the resistance in Gaza.

Rector Acar reviewed the past academic year's successes and provided information on the goals set for the coming year. At the end of the meeting, academics shared their questions and views, contributing valuable insights regarding the university's future.
