The European Publishing group that has been keeping the pulse of the global business world in Europe and around the world, selected Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University as the “Best Education Institution in Islamic Economics and Finance” in the world in 2020.
London-based The European publishing group, which is followed around the world, publishes on the issues of energy, banking, finance, maritime, aviation and technology. Rewarding excellence in the global business world, The European has been evaluating prestigious institutions around the world with the “Global Business” awards for the last 10 years. As a result of the evaluation made this year by the publishing group in Europe, Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University was selected as the “Best Education Institution around the World in the Field of Islamic Economy and Finance.”
Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University, which has been carrying out studies since its establishment in order to train local and international researchers in the field of Islamic economics and finance; and to do quality research in the field of Islamic Economics and Finance by bringing industry and university together, continues its success in the international arena. Aiming to be one of the most important centres of the world in this field, IZU wins general approval of international circles for the projects, publications, and events it produces. IZU, this year, also hosted the 12th International Islamic Economics and Finance Conference which is the most important Congress around the world in the field. At the Conference, notably our President Recep Tayyip ERDOGAN and many competent experts and speakers from the world of politics and academia were the guests.
Expressing his gratification with the award, the Rector of Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University, Prof Dr Mehmet BULUT said that “As IZU, we aim to be one of the best research centres around the world in the field of Islamic economics and finance. Besides, we have highly important publications on this subject, notably our academic and international peer-reviewed journals.
