Significant Agreements were Signed in Our Ancestors Land “Uzbekistan”

Upon the invitation of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in Uzbekistan, Our rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Bulut held bilateral talks in the cities of Bukhara, Samarkand, and Tashkent, and also has been taking parts in various studies.

In the statement made by the Uzbekistan Muslims’ Religious Administration discussing business associations in the field of education, a business partnership agreement was signed in the field of Islamic sciences between Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University and Mir Arab higher school in Buhara.

This protocol envisions a business alliance between the two sides in exchange of students, carry out scientific research, training internship for instructors, exchanging information and scientific material, organizing conferences and other activities.

In the meeting Prof Dr. Mehmet Bulut and the Rector of the Institute of Eastern Studies Dr. Abdurrahim Mannanov had in the city of Tashkent, they agreed to develop relations between the two universities while evaluating opportunities for mutual academic businesses.

Agreements for academic cooperation were signed with, Tashkent Language and Literature State University, International Bukhari Research center in Samarkand, the Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan, and the National University of Uzbekistan established in 1918.

In order to strengthen the academic direction and relations between the two countries and their 28 different universities started by President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan and President of Uzbekistan Sevket Mirzayev, Professor Dr. Mehmet Bulut had an interview with the Uzbekistan's National Television channel in the scope of academic cooperation in Samarkand, Buhara and Tashkent.

On the other hand, Prof. Bulut visited Bahaüddin Nakshbendi’s tomb and Imam Maturidi's tomb in Buhara, and Imam Buhari’s tomb in Samarkand.
