Results of the 11th term of 2017 "Support for 2209-B Industrialization-based Research Projects" were announced by TÜBİTAK. The project titled "Use of Egg Shell and Olive Hub in Chocolate Covered Oat Biscuits" by Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University Food Engineering Department 4th grade students Büşra Külsoy and Betül Kevser Tuğla under the supervision of Faculty of Food Engineering Assist. Assoc. Dr. Ertan Ermiş was selected as worthy of being supported by TÜBİTAK. The project that is awarded by TÜBİTAK is aiming to recycle of food wastes.
The "2209-B Industrialization Undergraduate Research Projects Support" program organized by TUBITAK provides undergraduate students studying at universities; encourages research through projects.
