The Erasmus + Student Mobility Program is a higher education program aimed at increasing the quality of higher education in Europe and envisaging "international mobility of university students" by encouraging cooperation between universities from different countries. The Erasmus program is financed by the European Union and the students receives a grant and chance to study in different European countries for a certain period of time. The Erasmus program is coordinated by the IZU International Office.
İstanbul Sabahattin Zaim University has Erasmus + agreement with 38 universities in 20 countries. Up to now(today), a total of 70 students have successfully completed the Erasmus study and internship mobility program. Our students benefited from mobility in almost all European countries, especially in Germany, France, Italy and Poland. At the same time IZU accepts a great number of exchange students from Europe every semester with programs offering 100% and 30% English.
In addition to the Erasmus program, we are developing collaborations with important universities from other parts of the world. These cooperation programs include student-academic exchanges, joint symposia and conferences, joint research projects, master's and PHD’s.Some of these cooperation agreements are; Major American universities such as Duke University and Mary Washington, our students have the opportunity to be a student of change, take (taking)summer courses and take(taking) advantage of English language education.For the Department of Islamic Sciences, where Arabic language education is important,we have agreements with the University of Jordan and the World Islamic Science & Education University in Jordan.In Addition International conferences are held every year in Malaysia with Universiti Utara Malaysia.
