On the anniversary of Israel's attacks on Gaza that began last October, protests are being held worldwide. Students at Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University gathered at the Halkalı campus to condemn the occupation of Gaza. IZU Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Cevat Acar, who marched alongside the students, noted that a Zionist brutality persists in Palestine that words cannot adequately describe. He emphasized that this oppression will not cease until all of humanity unites and combines their strengths to resist it.

The "3rd International Conference on the Artificial Intelligence of Objects (ICAIoT 2024)" took place at Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University.
