Our University is established by Science Dissemination Society on April 24, 2010.

What are student admission conditions of the university?
Our university receives students in accordance with YGS/LYS results and in respect of the rules specified by ÖSYM.
Can you provide information related to YGS/LYS Ranking Grants?
Students who ranked in YGS-LYS 2012 score rating (Except language score types and those placed with additional points) on national scale in Turkey and students who are placed in our University by ÖSYM as per their preference, scholarship will be paid for the students monthly for 9 months in cash; 2500 TL for those within the first 100, 2000 TL for those between the first 101 and 500, 100 TL for those between the first 501 and 1000, 1000 TL for those between 1001 and 2000. Students who ranked in 2012 Language score rating (Except those placed with additional points) on national scale in Turkey and students who are placed in our University by ÖSYM as per their preference, scholarship will be paid for the students monthly for 9 months in cash; 2500 TL for those within the first 10, 1900 TL for those between the first 11 and 50, 1400 TL for those between the first 51 and 100, 1000 TL for those between 101 and 200. YGS-LYS Ranking Scholarships are for one year for foreign language preparatory education and four years for bachelor's degree education. Students who have been graduated from another higher education institution cannot benefit from YGS-LYS Raking Scholarship. c) Academic Achievement Scholarship:
According to YGS/LYS result, I have been placed to paid/partial scholarship department/program. How can I receive Grants/Discounts?
Except those who are placed into full scholarship programs by ÖSYM, a discount ranging from 10% to 100% over the education free of the following year is applied for the students who does not receive any disciplinary punishments, who takes all courses and fulfill the condition of attendance and who achieves a weighted grade point average of at least 3.50 and those who ranks in the first 5 (five) students in their departments.
Success Criteria and Discount Rate
If 3.90 ≤ WGPA ≤ 4.00, 100%
If 3.80 ≤ WGPA ≤ 3.90, 75%
If 3.70 ≤ WGPA ≤ 3.80, 50%
If 3.60 ≤ WGPA ≤ 3.70, 25%
If 3.50 ≤ WGPA ≤ 3.60, 10%
On what conditions does ÖSYM Scholarship end?
The grants for a student attending our faculty/academies with scholarship program are canceled in the conditions given below; If Student;
a) Grade averages for two semesters successively decrease below 2.00 as per provisions of Regulations about Bachelor's Degree Education of Our University or failing in obligatory preparatory class,
b) Failure in fulfilling the conditions for attendance in courses,
c) Failure in renewing registration without any legal excuses,
d) Failure in graduating within the limit of normal education duration,
e) Receiving any types of warning and reprimand, their scholarship for the following semester after such conditions is canceled. Scholarship of the students who have lost their right to receive scholarship will be granted back if their weighted grade point average increases higher than 2.00 again in the following academic years. The scholarship which was canceled because of failure in the first year will be granted back if preparatory class is completed successfully.
Can you give us information about preference scholarship?
For the students who have chosen our university within the first three (3) preferences as per the result of 2012 YGS-LYS and who have been placed in one of the programs of our university in this three (3) preferences, a 20% discount will be applied during their normal education duration. Students who are enrolled for partial scholarship programs cannot benefit from preference scholarship. Students who are placed in one of our bachelor's degree program while they attend any bachelor's degree programs in other universities, cannot benefit from the preference scholarship specified in this article.
Can you give information related to other grants and discounts?
In the event that more than one siblings attend education in our university, a discount of 10% for each siblings over the fee paid for the relevant program. Sibling discount is valid as long as the sibling continues his/her education.
For the students living in Avcılar, Bağcılar, Bahçelievler, Bakırköy, Başakşehir, Beylikdüzü, Esenyurt and Küçükçekemce and who are placed to paid bachelor's degree programs of our University (Except partial scholarship bachelor's degree programs) by ÖSYM and who completed exact registration are provided a 10% of discount. (For region discount, dwelling address announced to ÖSYM is taken into consideration)
Founding Foundation Scholarship
Among the students who are graduated from Private İrfan College bound to our Founding Foundation and who are enrolled to paid bachelor's degree programs of our University (except bachelor's degree programs with partial scholarship), 10% discount will be applied for students attended this college for 3 complete years and %20 for those attended for 6 years and 25% additional discount for those attended 8 years in the college over the normal education fee.
Students who stayed for one (1) complete year in secondary school or university preparation dormitories of Science Dissemination Foundation, on condition of verifying with a document, are provided with 25% discount if they prefer paid bachelor's degree programs excepting partial scholarship programs and complete their exact registration.
Is it possible to apply for minor and double major in your university?
The aim of Double Major Program is to provide students who attend their bachelor's degree program with outstanding success, with an opportunity to continue their education together with a secondary field diploma and with a testimonial (minor certificate) from any programs actively open in the university.
Can you give us information about student exchange programs?
IZU enables students to experience a life-time social and academic opportunities with its agreements with students exchange programs from universities abroad. Students, applying for a foreign university in a period of one or two semesters following the second grade, will be selected according to their academic success and results of interviews. Our students will take courses in foreign university in line with their programs; and they will continue their education after returning from abroad without any problems by accepting courses equivalent in their current national program. Our university is planning exchange program agreements with various higher education institutes especially in European Countries, USA, Canada and Australia. Our students who will attend foreign universities by means of Erasmus Program can benefit from European Union funds and they can meet their expenses from these funds.
Is Summer School obligatory in the university?
Summer school in our University is optional. In the summer school established for using education opportunities also in summer, our students will be able to take courses for grade improvement, courses from other programs and also they will shorten their education duration by taking lessons from the next semester.
What are the conditions for taking lessons from upper semester?
Starting from the beginning of third semester, students who have passed all courses from previous semesters and achieved at least WGPA of 3.00, can take at most two courses from the next year's semester and those with WGPA of higher than 3.50 can take three courses.
